Friendly Reminders:

• Our first Math DCA (Unit 1 test over Multiplication and Division) and our second Science DCA (Unit 2 test over Animal and Plant Adaptations) will be next Thursday, September 26.
• Homework folders (yellow) - Your child can pick 1 or 2 items from the Homework Menu to do each day, plus reading daily. Reading logs will be collected every 2 weeks. First Reading log check is next Friday, September 27th. Also, our first spelling quiz will be next Friday too. Your child's spelling words are in his/her Homework folder. 
• Scholastic Book Orders - Scholastic Book Order flyers and information sheet with Class code went home in Thursday folders this week. September book orders are due next Friday, September 27. 
• Order your child's PTA t-shirt. Leopard Store We do have a field trip coming up in November, where we will be asking your child to wear his/her Elsa England t-shirt. Please, order as soon as possible. Thanks!
• Parent/Teacher Conferences - Monday,October 14th - I will be sending out a schedule of the time slot you signed up for (which you did at Open House) soon. 
• Put on your calender - Third Grade Musical on Thursday, October 17th. Return the "yellow" form that was in your child's Thursday folder as soon as possible. Thanks!
