- Scholastic Book Orders - Submit your September book order by Friday, September 24. Scholastic Book Order link. Here is our Class code: NP79X.
- Spelling List - Students have been placed in a spelling group. The spelling list for these groups is on Schoology in the "Writing" Course - Red Spelling Folder. Our current list focuses on the Long "a" sound patterns. Students are encouraged to practice their words at home. Our spelling quiz is on Friday, September 24.
- Math Test - We have our first math test coming up on Friday, September 24. This covers multiplication and division (2, 4, 8, 5, 10 facts). Strategies used to solve multiplication (number line, array, equal groups, repeated addition, strip diagram). Strategies used to solve division (number line, equal groups, array, repeated subtraction, strip diagram). Students should be able to see relationship patterns using an "In and Out" t-chart. Images of these strategies are on Schoology in the "Math" Course - Unit 1 folder.
- Chromebooks - We have been given our own chromebook charging station right outside our classroom! Our whole class can now leave their chromebooks at school to charge overnight. With that said, the chromebook is your child's, so he/she is welcome to take it home to access any school work in Schoology or the apps in the LaunchPad. Just don't forget to charge it at home and bring it back to school the next day!

- Parent/Teacher Conferences - Monday,October 11th - I will send out a sign up sheet soon! Conferences will be virtual using Google Meet.
