Announcements:
  • Tie Dye Shirts: Please have your child bring in his or her white t-shirt for our Tie Dye Enrichment Activity by next Friday, April 26th. Shirts can be purchased at Walmart, Michael's, Target for inexpensive price.
  • Family Gallery Night & Spring Book Fair: Come and see all the amazing work your child has been doing this year on Thursday, May 2nd!  Your child will have the chance to showcase some of their most favorite projects, assignments and activities. Classroom doors open at 6:00pm.  Plus, does your child need some new books for the summer???  The Spring Book Fair will also be open from 5:30 - 7:30pm. Give back by buying a book for the classroom too.  Food trucks for dinner will be here too. Super fun evening. I'm looking forward to seeing you all there!!
  • Last Nine Week Grading Period (4th quarter): Please, keep an eye on your child's grades and assignments. Typically, the last grading period is most difficult for students as they are so ready for summer!  Check Home Access with your child often (once or twice a week). The link to Home Access .
  • STAAR Assessments May 13 and May 14:  They are just around the corner.  Want to help prepare your child at home?  Suggestions for math: Khan Academy and Prodigy (students have a login already or set one up for FREE) and my "Math Links" tab are excellent online resources your child has access to. You can also create your own subscription to ixl.com and create an account for your child. It's a great math resource!  Suggestions for reading: reading comprehension passages with questions and other reading comprehension skills. Check out the "Reading Links" tab for tons of great online resources.
