What's Been Happening In Class?
- Writing: This week our focus was on getting ready for the Economics Fair and learning how to revise a story or essay.
- Reading: This week we began researching our PBL project on Habitat Loss. The kids have all chosen a region/area to focus on. We've been learning about our specific area and the habitat loss issues that are associated with that region.
- Math: We wrapped up the unit on Fractions (comparing fractions and equivalent fractions) with a test today! We will begin a Measurement Unit when we return from Spring Break. It will primarily focus on perimeter and capacity measurement (gallons, quarts, pints, cups, ounces).
- Science: We wrapped up our unit on Space. We'll start our next unit when we return from Spring Break. The next unit is: Ecosystems, Environments and Food Chains.
- Social Studies: We wrapped up our Economics Unit this week!
- Enrichment: Movie Reward Day for filling our Class Dojo bucket.
