We had a great first week with lots of opportunities to build our classroom community and practice working together. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy your children! They are eager and excited about learning, and they are doing a great job listening and following directions. They've worked really hard this week, and we were able to do so many fun activities.
I took a few pictures from our first week, but I realized that the "Third Grade Media Form" just went home today for you all to read and sign. Therefore, I am unable to post pictures from this week. My hope is that all the Media Forms will be turned next week so I can post pictures to next Friday's Weekly Update.
Please, make sure to have your child return the "Elsa England Folder" each week. They will go home on Thursdays and will include various important information from the school plus some of your child's work.
Next week, we will begin diving into our core curriculum. We will also create our class's Social Contract, which is a list of expectations the students and I will develop in which we all agree upon.
