End-of-the-Year Weekly Update - Friday, May 15

• Summer Learning Opportunity FREE through RRISD.  It's an 8-week learning program available to all RRISD students. To learn more about it click HERE.

Important Announcements:

• Pick Up Supplies From School & Drop Off Library/Classroom Books: Tuesday, May 19 @ 10:00am - 11:00am. You will drive through the back driveway of the school (car rider pickup line) to pick up your child's belongings and drop off library books and classroom books. Ms. Lee and I will be there!!
  • Ms. Lee and I have already bagged up your child's things from the classroom and we will be there ready to drop them in your car!
  • As you drive through, please have your child's name, grade level and my name "Lilleboe" written LARGE and BOLD on a piece of paper on your dashboard or taped to a window.
  • If your child has any library books or classroom books at home, we will be collecting those at that this time as well. Just put them in a plastic bag and tie it closed and we will have collection containers to drop them in!
  • If you cannot make that specific time frame, you can also come by on Thursday, May 21 from 3pm-5pm, just enter through the front of the school and tables will be set up for you to grab your child's belongings and drop off books. 
  • Any teacher appreciation cards or posters your child made for Ms. Lee and I we would love to have! Please, bring them on Tuesday so we can receive them in person. :)
    
• Google Classroom "Summer Learning Slideshow":
  • I will post a "Mrs. Lilleboe's Summer Learning Slideshow" on Sunday in Google Classroom. I will also email it to parents. Information about RRISD's Summer Learning Program will be in it, plus a ton of curriculum links, apps you can download and activities for you and your child to do over the summer to keep the brains engaged!
• Google Meet: 
  • Our last meeting is on Tuesday, May 19 at 4:00pm - Hope everyone can make it!
  • Please, use this document to get set up and use Google Meet. Google Meet Guide for students and families
    
• Distance Learning Assignments:
  • ​Last day to "turn in" any assignments on Google Classroom from any of the weeks is Wednesday, May 20th.  Please, let me know (Class Dojo or email) that your child has turned in missing assignments so I can change the "grade" in Home Access.
